Hi aramyi,

one way is to get the WidSets application downloaded is open this url www.widsets.mobi directly with your mobile browser and use the download possibility on the wap site.

When using WidSets, you need to use Internet/GPRS access point to get the connectivity working.

You can find new and interesting widget (those mini applictions, icons) to yur dashbord by opening the Library widget and searching new and intersting content from there. You can add or remove widgets as you like.

Please, review the FAQs for more help.

I have few options for you:

1. What is the URL to your blog? Are you sure that the problem is in the font and not it the RSS feed's character encoding that your blog outputs

2. Go to phone service point and get them to flash your phone with newest software and with language/font pack you want

3. Buy a new phone

4. (if you have coder's blood in your veins) Create a script that reads your feed, outputs another feed with image-links to separate script and also reads your feed and renders ;) single items as a PNG image. For example in PHP language this shouldn't be more than 3 pages of code. Of course you'll also need a server to host this code, but doesn't every hacker have?)

Hi Nicolas,

I believe that from the day one, there's always been two sites: www.widsets.com (the main site) and developer.widsets.com that is only targeted to those members who like to develope new widgets with the SDK. Let's see if we are able to combine these two sites together in the future.

About the www.widsets.com. You are still able to create widgets on the website with the template and then use those in private or publish to the library. Or if you want to edit them, that's also possible. You just need to create a new copy of it, edit and re-publish. This is done on My Profile page: Edit widgets or My published widgets. Editing here means that you'd change the icon, feed, colors etc.

There were changes with the softkeys, which was a part of a bigger picture. I hope you'll get use to it as times goes by, at least that's what happened to me.

Thanks for your comments!

jks, whilst I agree with some of the points you make, I think you started to enter into a bit of an unqualified rant. It certainly would be sensible to do some kind of re-direct for mobile users visiting the main page and I'm sure this catches out quite a number of users (including myself the first time I tried to get access to WidSets).

However, with regards to:
For the sake of your investors if nothing else, talk to Nokia and ask them to lend you for a week or two some pimple-faced long-haired Macbook-toting web developer who "gets it", and listen to what he has to say.
... sounds like the last person they should consult.

How hard can it be do provide download links to the client?

Hi Taltos,

thanks for the feedback! There seems to be a need for an improvement in this one.

Here's tips how to reinstall WidSets:

Go to www.widsets.com and log in with your username and password. Go to My Profile page and then Settings view and you will see the ‘Reload’ button. This will send you a text message containing the client download link. Follow the instructions to install.

Or alternative way:

1. Go to link: get.widgets.com with mobile browser
2. Scroll to the end of the page and click "Login"
3. Enter your old username and password
4. Download the application
5. Now you should have the same personized WidSets in use that you used to have before.

If you want o download anonymous application, then use the "Download WidSets" link at get.widsets.com

If you prefer to have the files to your PC, you can browse with your PC to get.widsets.com and save the jad file. Jar file url can be picked from the jad file.
This way you can get either anonymous or your customized client depending on which you click "Downlaod WidSets" or "Login".

I will take the message onwards, to make the reloading more visible to you.

I agree about the non-working widgets, there should be more control on those as they give bad experience to new users about the service.

We'll take a look on these issue.
