Using the real estate of the screen especially N95
View all posts in this topicUsing the real estate of the screen especially N95
I got my new N95 and offcourse the first thing I did was to install widgets client.
There are few annoyances.
First it seems that there are newer implementation of widgets, but I have no clue when some widget is updated. e.g. I tested by selecting a new Flickr widget from the library and it looked bit different than the previous one on my dashboard.
I like the landscape mode of the N95, but the widgets are not efficiently using that. E.g. the Flickr widget leaves a lot of white space into the screen. Landscape pictures would look much better if all of the available space is used. A second widget I use which could do some refinement was Dilbert where the major part of the screen is taken by the caption on the top of the screen.
What surprised me positively was that the change from the landscape to portrait worked.
