Systemwise yor account seems to be functioning OK so we'd still need you "onsite" assistance. Sorry the following is a bit tediously long precdure but could help us solving your iPAQ case.
Could you please go Options/applications/Settings and turn the developer mode on. Then exit the application, start it again and check from Options/Developer/Log what it says ?
