the idea of the private chat widget is based on sharing it. You start a chat = give a name to a chat channel and then you share it with those friends that you like to participate in. And yes, it can be shared only via telephone number.
If your friend does not have WidSets installed already, he will recieve an SMS that includes a link to the application download and the chat widget should be already on your friends dashboard, when he goes online.
If your friend is already a registered user, the sharing message will go to the Inbox of the WidSets application and the chat widget can be picked from there.
