New Email widget

Tana  2008/05/05 12:03 UTC

Check out the new Email widget - pick it from this library link http://www.widsets.com/widget/196796548/?ps=7

The new email widget has the following functions:

- You can receive, send and forward emails
- You can define the widget's name in the Settings
- it is easy to configurate. If someone else has already configured the email account for same service provider, all you need to do is just to type in your email address, username and password - and you're ready to use the widget
- your existing email account needs to support IMAP or POP3 protocols. Very good example of this is Gmail, it works like a charm. All service provider's free emails don't support IMAP or POP3, you may need to pay some extra for that. Check that out from your service provider's website.
- Very like you need to enable to support for IMAP on the email service provider's website, before the email widget starts to work ( e.g. in Gmail site: Settings > Forwarding and POP/IMAP > Check the "Enable IMAP" option
- so far the widget support .jpg, .gif and .png formats

Enjoy the new Email widget!

PS: There's some plans to improve this email widget. If you have some great ideas, please post them this this thread.
