Cycling promoted content

I use WidSets quite a lot, so I'm always interested in trying out new widgets. However, there are some really high quality widgets that don't get promoted at all (and are therefore difficult to find).

I think it would be good if someone on the WidSets team was to dig out quality content and ensure they are cycled as "promoted widgets" (on the website or the client).

It seems I'm not the only person who thinks this.

Also, there are some duplicate widgets that aren't as high quality as others. For instance compare BoingBoing #1 with BoingBoing #2. The second version looks and works a lot better in the client than the first version but people download first version because it has more downloads. It seems a shame to create such a cool looking interface, and then have some top sites represented by sub-standard looking widgets (the first version works fine btw but you get the point). User generated content and community ranking/rating is great, but I think there still needs to be a human element involved in the promotional/quality control process.
