I've never heard of or seen this happening.

I would suggest moving your widgets to the bar and then synchronizing, and then back onto your dashboard (and synchronizing).

Also, you could try reloading your widgets by holding down 5 when you start the client. If you do it correctly, it will clear your dashboard.
