The only thing that comes to mind is that the phone software is somehow buggy. If you have the option of taking your phone to a software upgrade, that might be worth your while, but then again I can't guarantee that it will help either.
Could also be that it's not letting you install the application, because our application is not signed. To help that issue, we're working on signing the application. There will be announcements on that later.

2007/05/23 05:39 UTCI installed widsets already in my previous phone. Due to software problems in my phone I was unable to use widsets for a while, but now I have a new phone but I am unable to change the phone type.
Is there any other way to change the phone type than just deleting my account and redoing it?
I already have a working widsets in my phone, but I would not want to search my feeds again.

the phone model information is fetched at the same time when you download the client to your device. Though this happens in the case when you download it via your mobile http://get.widsets.com . Remember to use the login in the end of the page as you already have an account.
If you have installed WidSets via PC, then the phone model information is not updated.
Please, let me know which way you installed the client to your new device. If you still have problems, it would be usefull to know which are the phone models that you used before and today.

For my phone it is possible to use the load functionality in the phone, which is the way I got my Widsets.

I know you are very busy running Widsets and keeping track of the forum, but i have a question.
I recently got a new phone and i like to keep the same account instead of using a new one, is this possible or am i just out of luck?
Anyone with suggestions, feel free to message me (also try some of my Widsets :D)

I got my new phone working while following instructions from Taina. I had some problems first, but managed to get it right after some thinking.
Go to settings and there press reload button in section reload WidSets.
That worked for me.

just to get back to this old issue again...
Now a days if you reload your client by website /Settings page or use get.widsets.com and login with your old user name, the client should recognize your mobile phone correctly and update the information to your Settings profile as well.
I have the same phone currently myself, and it is showing N95 as it should be.
