How to get WidSets connected?
Here's a bunch of tips what you can try to do, if it looks like the WidSets is not able to get connected. Normally this may happen when you start to use the WidSets, the installation is ok, but when you open WidSets application, the dashboard does not have any content, any widgets visible, only the empty dashboad with bubbles.
1. The first thing is to check that you have an active data plan for your mobile phone, e.g. you can browse the Internet via GPRS. Or you have a Wlan capable phone.
2. Choose a Internet/GPRS or Wlan access point when trying to get WidSets connected.
3. Try to change connectivity settings from WidSets: Open the application and then: Options - Client - Settings - Connection - Socket/HTTP. Change the default Socket to HTTP.
4. Some carriers (mainly in US and Canada) may not allow to use the Socket connection. It is good to try to change the between Socket and HTTP as advised above.
5. If the carriers don't allow socket usage, the HTTP is needed to be used. Unfortunately, the some proxies and our http access method do not agree with each other a lot of the time, and that will fail, too. In this case you should try to set off the proxy for the used access point.
6. WAP access points are rarely working with WidSets. They are often set as a default access point for S40 phones and others. User Internet / Web / GPRS access point that has no mention about WAP.
Some more tips will follow as needed.
I hope this gives some ideas what could be tried out, if the connection is not opened right away.
Cheers,
Taina

Sometimes some S40 phone may require to create a new accees point. Name it eg."Internet", access point name: Internet and data bearer: packet data (GPRS). Make WidSets use that access point.
WAP access point is very common default access point in S40 phones, and that works very rarely. Please use Internet/GPRS access point (operators may name is as Web, Browser etc.)

Re: Tips - How to get WidSets connected?
What you have tried so far? There's many tips in this thread, that are the most common tips how to succeed in connecting.
The log that you pasted here unfortunately doean't give any information about connecting. It would be more usefull to get a log where's information about connecting and going online.
Hope we get it working for you :)
