Reading feeds via the website

idophir  2007/07/26 11:52 UTC

Hi WidSets,
Great site and service!
I'm using it for a few days now on Nokia E65 and everything is working as it should.

I would like to make two suggestions:
1. (hope I'm not missing something) why isn't it possible to read the feeds via the website? It would be great if there would be a web/mobile collaboration and I could use both
2. I'm joining all those requested an offline feature. I don't have unlimited plan but do have wireless so it would be great to download everything before leaving home/work and read without the need to go online.

Good luck,
Ido

Hi idophir,

sorry for not reacting to this tread ealier. When you have posted this we had some holiday season here and looks like some tread were missed.

Maybe you have already noticed my reply to another tread, which states that we are working on the first issue you suggested. This is quite frequently requested improvement for WidSets.

Full offline is wished by many WidSeteers as well, though this issue is more complex case. Currently we fetch 500 characters at the time, if we do not limit the amount of content at all and people are using about 20 widgets on dashboard, it could cause some problems with phone memory.

Maybe again this is something that we will work on in the future, if we keep on receiving this kind of feedback from you guys. You never know...

Great to hear that you like WidSets - we do, too : )

Cheers,

Taina
