I lost my widget ranking

Today I managed to do some modifications to the published Widget "Al-Ahly Club" which was the 13th popular widget and the 8th top ranked one.
After I did so, I lost everything and now I have very few users who has updated the widget.
I tried several times to maneuver around this bug without any luck.
please help

Hi.

Widget ranking is missing because the system treats each version of a widget as a separate one. Unfortunately in the case of updating widgets, the old rankings and picks will not be transferred to the new version. I informed our developers about this a bit illogical feature/behavior. Thanks for your feedback, hopefully we can come up with a solution soon.

Hi,
Seems that we are close to a solution as I could see the old widget on www.widsets.com/28042 with all the right ranking and hits.

Hope we shift number of users to my modified widget (al-ahly club)
