Re:About new very recently launched mobiles....
Hi there post@chillweb.com.
Quite a lot of people have been reporting on issues with SonyEricssons and networking, and on many of these occasions the solution for these issues has been just simply correcting those networking settings. Are you able to use other Java applications that use the network, such as Google maps for example?
You might want to check out a thread that led to many people fixing their networking settings under the SonyEricsson devices. Please see the link below.
No Widsets! on my Sony Ericsson K750i:
http://www.widsets.com/forum/posts/list/1067.page
So in short, I have adviced users to reorder the networking settings from SonyEricssons phone settings portal. Related to this advice, user reports by wtot and Olivier suggest that atleast on some carriers, you also have to do additional changes to these settings manually to get the Java side online.

Antti
Re:About new very recently launched mobiles....
Hi,
When I try to download the software from my Samsung D900 it says I have a Samsung SGH-D508.
Any update due? Can I download this version anyway?
Hope you can help.

I'm having problems with o2 atom
Re:About new very recently launched mobiles....
Hi Colasin and starr.
You can try to install the application even though our device recognition seems to fail on your device. The application might however have a faulty resolution setting, so images might appear smaller or larger than would be preferred on your device. I'll tell your findings to our operations people, so that we can update the detection to work properly.
// Edit - the Atom 02 and Samsung D900 should now identify properly.
Cheers,
Antti
Re:About new very recently launched mobiles....
My phone is getting recognized as a Neonode N1 when I actually have an HTC Apache (Verizon XV-6700) running Windows Mobile 5 AKU 3.3. I'd like a way to override the auto sensing downloader that you use in order to get something that is compatible with my device.
The java app doesn't seem to map correctly to my buttons or touchscreen, so I am unable to try your product. How to fix?
Re:About new very recently launched mobiles....
Hi there magoon.
Touchscreen support is not there yet, but I'll ask our operations people to check the device detection, so that the buttons could be mapped to your device. Please try out our keytester application and give us feedback on what keys are usable on your device.
Keytester and it's usage is described in this thread:

Re:About new very recently launched mobiles....
Hi,
I've added your handset.
This handset is basically identical to the iMate KJAM, so I can add similar keybindings in the hope that it works automagically however we'd prefer having the correct key mappings from you (and of course need them if the settings we have for similar devices don't work).
Please test it out,
Cheers,
Daniel.
Re:About new very recently launched mobiles....
I have a Sprint 6700 and I am unable to navigate with the directional keys. Upon downloading and installing Widsets the application will connect and start but I am unable to exit without shutting down the JVM. Once I try to restart Widsets it will ask me if I want to connect but I an unable to key in anything to make it connect.
I have tried the key tester app and the keys/directional presses are correct.
I actually had to log in to the Website and select widgets and reinstall the client before I saw anything on my 6700. But restarting Widsets yields the same results stated above.
Re:About new very recently launched mobiles....
Hi tmanns.
Could you please post your findings from the values from the keytester application to the appropriate thread (http://www.widsets.com/forum/posts/list/30/278.page), so I could try to bind those for your device. The keytester application doesn't automatically change those values for your application and we have to add those to the system on this side first. Thanks.
Cheers,
Antti
Re:About new very recently launched mobiles....
Does WidSets work on a Samsung Blackjack (i607). Widsets is coming back and saying it is a Samsun SGH-D508, but when I try to install it, the java client comes back and states "The application descriptor was missing the required MIDlet-Name field".
The Blackjack runs WM5.
Any ideas?
