new widsets trouble on n95

2007/10/26 12:15 UTCi installed the new client and all was ok but when i shut down the phone and i restart widsets doesnt start anymore.
the same thing happened in my n95 with old version of google maps and nimbuzz.
i think is a bug
new versions of google maps its ok , i dont know about nimbuzz because i disinstalled it
every time i shut down i have to reinstall widsets again . its not confortable!

2007/10/26 18:34 UTCI've not even been able to open it at all on my N95. I couldn't upgrade, either, for a very long time. I finally removed it, then reinstalled it. It says it's on there, but no way is it going to open. I think it's going to make me give up my N95. Too many problems.

I'm using N95, too and WidSets has been working just great.
My firmware version is V12.0.013.
Have you installed WidSets to phone's memory or to memory card? Does it make any difference if you try to install it in other place than before.
I try to find out if there something else that could be tried out.

Widsets is on memory card like the old version
I never installed apps on phone mem
I dont realize the reason of that dead icon after shutdown.
Old google maps made same way
The new one works perfectly

After update Widsets stopped working. I noticed that the username shown on device were no more the one I registered. It was regenerated and the feeds stopped loading new data. I have deleted the app and reisntall it .. It does not start anymore
My phone is N95 V 12.0.0.13

currently I don't know any other way to get rid off the dead icon than firmware update or restoring the factory settings. Which are not so nice options.
One dead icon on your grid may not be so bad thing, as long as you have another WidSets icon that opens and works.
Try to install WidSets again. Here is advices how you can do it easily, to get your old customised client back to phone:

If you cannot replace the old version, then I would advise removing the memory card and then trying again. It should be able to install it and after this the WidSets should work again.

I have exactly the same prob on my N95 just installing widsets from this site now i will report back how it goes and if it sorts out the prob x

Maybe my english is not so good and i didnt explain well ,my widset icon is dead when i shut down my phone and i restart, so i redownload and install and after that, the soft works perfectly till next shutdown.
I reinstall at any restart.
When i reinstall widsets works fine
It s annoying
