My 9500 keeps on crashing

users were forced to use the new version without having the option to use the beta before all things are sorted out.

I have reinstalled the new version several times but my Nokia 9500 keeps on crashing. Is there any issues with regards to 9500?

I haven't use the service now since the new version was released. Please HELP!

so far I haven't heard any fatal issue concerning new WidSets and 9500. Have you tried installing both on phone's memory and the memory card?

Is it crashing to installation or when you are opening the application?

Try to minimized the amount of widgets on the dashboard on the website (My Profile - Dashboard Manager) - just leave the Library and My Profile and try installation again, and opening the WidSets. Does it help at all?

I'll check with our guys if they know any similar case and how to solve it.

What I don't understand is I have only 2 widsets left in Dashboard Mgr but I have 6 in my phone still loading.

Do you think creating a new account will solve it?

Hi,

If this feature hasn't been removed, you can press '5' whilst widsets is loading, and it will clear your widgets off of your phone (it will pop up a message telling you it's doing this).

That might give you some luck.

Hi,

did you try the reset? Does it help?

If no reset possible, a new accout could be tried, if that is any help. New WidSets is running in 9500, but seems to vary by user how it work.

i am using nokia 9500 i down loaded widsets but when i tried to open the application widset my phone shuts down i tried it many times every time the phone shuts down and the application remains on the screen half way can you help me ive been using this on nokia E 50 there was no problum

We have two of 9500s here and WidSets is working ok on those. They both have sw version is v05.22(01). What's yours? In the database there seems to be many 9500 users using WidSets.

There might be differences in the Java implementation between different sw versions and they may effect to the WidSets functionality.

You seem to have older sw version on 9500 than we have. A firmware update could possible get WidSets up and running on your device, but I cannot guarantee it...
