Data/text limits per news entry

Hey all,

I notice that for some of the widgets and rss feeds (incl those created by myself), truncation occurs for entries. Quite a fair amount of entries just gets cut off.

Is there a text length limit to each news entry? Any way to disable this? Rather annoying to read a news item only to have it truncated abruptly.

I'm using Widsets on an E61i, S60v3 using Wifi mostly to update widsets.

Hi Zoob,

content is fetch always in 500 characters sets. When going to online, if there's new content for some feed, the 500 first characters will be fetched. If you read the story, it will fetch next 500 characters again and so on...

Many members have wished for some improvement for this feature to be able to have more readable content for offline reading. We try to make changes to this behaviour as soon as we can.

PS. The amount of content depends also on the feed itself, how much content it has. Some has longer stories, some only one sentence.
