Can we use english Widsets in China?

Hi,

Our company is located at U.S but I'm currently work in our China office, yesterday I downloaded the latest Widsets client on my N71. However there's always a popup message on my Widsets homepage, says "Your client is not capable to handle this widget" What's the problem with?

Is it possible to use english Widsets in China?

Hi,

I take it you downloaded the widsets client from http://get.widsets.com/ , and the problem is that you're getting a popup on your mobile from inside widsets?

I'll ask the developers what could cause that error message to appear - do you have any specific widgets on your dashboard? Do any of them work?

Hi,

That result is one you could get if you attempt to pick a widget without first going online, or if you are upgrading from a very old version - and it will be visible on the website, not on the mobile.

I can set your version to the latest in our database, but you need to be able to get online for it to work anyhow - for that, you need a data plan of some sort which will preferably let you use sockets, or http at least if not. I'm not familiar with the chinese telecom data settings, so I can't help much there except to say try several connection points, and turn off the proxy if it doesn't work via http with one on.
