Still no news on when this problems will be fixed, becoming a little frustrating that it is not possible to create own widsets from you favourite RSS-feeds

Hi,

i have another problem related to this. I can create a new widget but when i click on finish the cursor turns into the clock icon and won't stop spinning and the widget creation is not complete even if you waited it out for 30 mins.

Hi asabli,

what is your browser and operating system of PC? Have you ever succeeded to create a widget and really use it?

This feature should be working, but in your case ther's something special on going...

if you see my profile i have successfully created two widgets before. That was when i was using a ibook Mac OSx running on Tiger. But now i've bought a macbook pro using leopard it doesn't work. even if i use it in a windows browser running on paralles it doesn't work. I have also tried using safari, firefox and camino browser in a mac osx and it doesn't work. If i run windows in parallel and using IE7 or firefox its the same as well. Everytime it's the same thing when i click finish after creating a widget i see my cursor turn into the running clock and it just stays there doing nothing.

Hi Tana,

I managed to create & publish several widsets but I've problem to create any now. After I clicked the FINISH button and waited a few minutes, I was prompted with this message: "Error Saving Widget. HTTP request error". The link checking was ok.

What could be the problem?

was it before the update (18 March) that you succeeded to create widgets, and not after that?

Are you still able to reproduce this?

What is your PC's operating system and browser?

PS: One known thing with the new website is that it requires Safari browser 3.X version to work properly. In some cases Firefox may have some problems, but that should be corrected by clearing the cookies ( Firefox | Tools | Clear private data...).

No special version requirements for other browsers. The site requires Flash Player version 9.
