Downloading widsets on PCs

Just after the creation of my profile, I tried to download Widsets on my PC (the JAR file). However I had then a nice page called Error 500. So impossible to download the file.
I've tried to find another way to download it but since I'm registered now, the only way I've found to get the file is by giving my phone number in my profile settings.

Is it still possible to download the file on my PC without creating another profile or giving my phone number (receiving a text message on my mobile is cheap but not free for me)?

Edit: I've just found another way to get Widsets. I can go to this address: get.widsets.com with my mobile. Not so easy to find the information. However I still would like to know if I can still download the JAR file somewhere.

Thanks for sharing your user experiece with us :) This is valuable info how people download the application and get to use it - it is not so straight forward everytime, that's what we have learned. Well, we will do our best to improve it.

The easiest way for download are, as you have discovered is to
- use mobile browser to go to page get.widsets.com
(in the end of the page there's login for already registered users)

- send a "Reload" message from My Profile page at the website

Or the way to download the needed files from PC to phone, by opening get.widsets.com via PC browser. Use the login there to get your customised client - save the jar file and download to phone via PC. Jad file can be found by opening the the jar file and checking the MIDlet-Jar-URL information.

Maybe you already tried this one, but you seem to had some problmes with it.

I'm happy if you got all working now :)

Widsets works now perfectly on my mobile now. I downloaded it yesterday from my mobile browser without any trouble since I knew then the correct address. And now I can play with it and have fun :)

Just by curiosity, I've tried to find the jar file from my PC browser and I'm sorry to say I haven't found it. Only 2 jad files from get.widsets.com. The first one, 3ya666b6.jad via link "login", and the second one anon.jad via link "Download WidSets". Is there a difference between these 2 files? I assume not, but it is just a bit strange to see the same file with 2 different names.

The first one is your personal one for "SkyCorp" profile, that you downloaded after you cage your user name and password at get.widgets.com. Anon.jad is just anonymous client that goes to all new users who start to use WidSets through get.widsets.com as a new user. Looks like you have downloaded WidSets twice.

if you want downloading widsets on PCs you have to come NOKIA company
