Nice!
I would hope, though, to be able to use a map when selecting the location.
Also, would like to have the opportunity to see a map (i.e. multiple locations simultaneously) with weather forecasts.

I have no idea whether these are technically possible, but still hoping...

Hi mpuputti!

Thanks for the great idea! Some miniatyre worldmap would be possiple so user could choose the continent. Big bitmap image based maps would still not be very usable in our system right now. Maybe someday will have vector graphics and then we can do all kind of maps :)

We've also had few ideas of our own of how to make this widget better, and it will be upgraded in near future(weeks or months).

Am I supposed to enter the location everytime I start the widget or is there some setting that I'm missing. It would be nice if the widget could stay on my city the whole time until I choose to change it myself.

Hi Lukeash,

when you open the widget, there's a Location setting where you can define the preferred city from the list under continents and countries. This setting should remain untill you change the setting again next time.

Please, let us know if not working as I just described.

Hi Taina!
I just tried the Foreca Weather again and everytime I have to
choose my location. I am using a Nokia N95 and chosing location
Europe, Sweden, Stockholm. When I close widsets and start it again
The Foreca logo just says click instead of the temperature.

Hi Lukeash,

in deed, seems like some users have had similar problems that you are facing. PekkaT will be doing some fixes to the widget in a week or two, after which it should be more reliable.

I have been lucky and the widget has worked nicely in my mobile. Even in here it is showing Stockholm 14 and some clouds :)
Is that correct?!

Some patience and it will show it to you, too. Very soon.

Hi Taña! Just want to let you know that after waiting a while after turning on widsets, the foreca widget updates and starts showing my chosen location. Guess I was impatient. So now it is working fine.'
